Wastewater Treatment

Modern products

General description

Available in anionic and cationic, liquid and solid form, with low, medium and high molecular weight and different charge ratios.

Method of application

The application and dosage depend on the characteristics and the type of the wastewater system, where the flocculant solution will be applied. The aqueous solution should be prepared by the slow, gradual addition of the flocculant to a tank containing the required amount of water while stirring continuously.

Package

Available in plastic bags of 25kg and plastic packages of 25lt, 200lt and 1000lt.

General description

Available in iron and aluminum based inorganic coagulants (PAC 18, Aluminum Sulphate, Iron Chloride, Iron Sulphate) and organic coagulants (DADMAC, Amines, Decolorizing agents). They are characterized by low molecular weight and high cationic ratio.

Method of application

The application and dosage of the solution of coagulants depend on the characteristics and the type of wastewater system where it will be applied. Depending on the type of coagulant and the characteristics of the process, a different procedure for preparing and administering the coagulant solution is proposed in order to optimize the performance of the system.

Package

Available in packages of 25kg, 50kg, 150kg, 220kg, 1,000kg.

General description

Microorganisms are widely used in the biodegradation of various types of waste. They are divided into different categories depending on the strains they contain. They are available in solid and liquid form. The combination of microorganisms used consists of bacteria, enzymes, and trace elements that can function in both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

Method of application

Microorganism products are harmless to humans as they contain no pathogenic microorganisms, and they are not toxic and corrosive. It is recommended to wear gloves and wash hands after each application. The dosage varies by product and by type of wastewater. Depending on the problem to be solved, a different application method of these products is recommended, without the need of any additional equipment.

General description

Available in acids and bases. They vary both in terms of the type of chemical compound and their weight content in the original solution. Caustic soda is available in concentrations of 25, 33, 50% and hydrochloric acid in concentrations of 31-33%.

Method of application

It is essential to use personal protective equipment throughout their use to avoid burns, ingestion, breathing difficulties, and contact with the eyes.

General description

Available in silicone-based and fatty acid ester-based formulations.

Method of application

Depending on the conditions of the system (pH, temperature), different dosages of antifoaming agents are recommended to solve the problem. They can be used directly or after some preparation (dissolusion) before they are provided to the aqueous system.

Package

Available in varying quantities and packages according to the customer’s needs.

General description

Available in liquid and solid form, as well as in products used in vaporization devices (gel). Deodorizing products consist of mixtures of organic substances that do not mask the unpleasant odors but neutralize them. They are effective against a wide range of substances that cause unpleasant odors, such as those based on sulfur (hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, etc.) and ammonia. The products are not hazardous to humans or the environment.

Method of application

It is recommended that they be applied by spraying at high pressure in order to combat unpleasant odors more effectively. ENVI-CHEM uses automated high-pressure spraying equipment to apply deodorizing products, with the aim of making better use of the product through better dispersion in the space, reducing operating costs, and reducing human resources. There are also products that are added to flocculant solutions for the deodorization of dewatered biological sludge.

General description

Sodium hypochlorite is used for wastewater disinfection and the oxidation of organic compounds. It is available as an aqueous solution with a sodium hypochlorite concentration of 11–14%.

Method of application

Sodium hypochlorite is applied to waste by adding the product to the wastewater in the final stage of treatment. The dose is adjusted according to the microbial load of the waste, while the process is carefully monitored to avoid toxic by-products.

Package

Available in 25kg containers, 150kg drums, and 1250kg IBC pallet tanks.
