The ALIVE research team has initiated a greenhouse pot experiment to evaluate the performance of the innovative products developed the project!
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and BIOS, cultivated lettuce plants under controlled conditions to assess the effectiveness of the green biofertilizers and biostimulants derived from anaerobic digestate and microalgae produced in the ALIVE project. The experimental setup also includes comparisons with conventional commercial fertilizers and other products.
Key agronomic parameters are monitored, aiming to determine the potential of these sustainable solutions to replace synthetic products. This work represents a critical step towards validating environmentally friendly inputs from the ALIVE project that support circular economy principles and sustainable agricultural practices.
